Re: New Bataclan edition

I listened to this gig properly for the first time. I really enjoyed it. Those versions of Mirror, Waiting, Black Angel. They may be the best post-Cale-VU live versions of those songs I've ever heard. They really work.

Re: New Bataclan edition

Isn't this a vinyl re-gurgitating of this:

https://www.amazon.com/Bataclan-Pitch-C ... B00I1R4U9Q

It had the extras, and so suggests that the LP might be speed corrected, too.

Seems like this is referring to this gig at The Aardvark Cinematheque in Chicago, February 1st, 1968.

Re: 56 Ludlow St.

I happened to be in the Lower East Side of NYC a few weeks back, and found myself walking past a street sign that read "Ludlow St." I took a few moments to locate the building at #56, examine its exterior for a while, and shoot some quick pix of it. Thank-you. I would never have thought of of going...

The European Son-in-law
Just a minor tweak: Just make it European Son-In-Law, without "The." BAND RENAMED!
Yes!

That's a very original name! Too bad it isn't something like The Banana Albums or The Silky Tubes or Louis and the Firbanks!
Hehe. All better names than the one they have. How about these:

The Velcro Underground
Black Angel Delight
The European Son-in-law
Sister Rayban

Re: Transmission Impossible

Is there another recording of Prominent Men? If you scroll down to 3 Jan, apparently there is. http://olivier.landemaine.free.fr/vu/live/1965-66/perf6566.html I never really noticed that, before. A number of songs missing from all the CDs, even the original Warhol Exhibition CD. I wonder where that...

I don't see any mention of the missing tracks? Looks like the same old in a different package.

Looking for Men Of Good Fortune, Prominent Men and others. Now that would be an incredible find!
