Re: Lou Reed Gigography - Research Results (1972-73)

Re: Lou Reed Gigography - Research Results (1972-73)

great research MG! That's my ticket stub for Manchester 27th Sept 73. I think the old 27th July Manchester date is in error. I have a scan of a poster/flyer for Akron Civic Theater 21 January 1973 but I'm not sure if it is genuine. Also, 20th April 1973 - Santa Monica Civic Auditorium (not May) 18th...

many thanks for locating and posting these items!

Hello, is this tape in his archives ? Sally is the best album he's done, perhaps with Berlin.
I doubt it. This show was recorded by the sound engineer and retained by him. The tracks i uploaded are all that were in his archive.

Re: Looking for live footage from Lou '76 show

Yeah i think we're all looking for the rest of that footage. You can find "Wild Side" from (maybe) the same show on youtube but the rest of it.....
I think it was Mick Rock who filmed the 76 tour, probably multiple shows.

Re: Cassettes in the UK 89-93

I visited Edinburgh record fairs from 1980 onwards ... Great, I'm not the only one who remembers these things. But what is Goldmine and what is Enrique's Web page? Forgive my ignorance. Goldmine was/is(?) the US equivalent of the UK "Record Collector" magazine, although it leant more towards classi...
