Re: Rock N Roll Animal Web Page Corrections

The Upper Darby show is actually from 28 May, and it's Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.

I also found this from the 26 May 1973 issue of Billboard magazine:

Re: Rock N Roll Animal Web Page Corrections

It appears that there are no refs to the Moogy Klingman Band in this thread. Almost all of these are not on the RNRA web page. I have no way of knowing how many (possibly all) are Moogy shows. 23 Feb 1973 - University of Rhode Island, Kingston, Rhode Island 8 March 1973 - Wesleyan University, Middle...

Mystery Lou band members in 1973

bleach alerted me to this photo of Lou in early '73 that was in an eBay auction which just ended: http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r113/mg196/-1_zpsleaavqqi.jpg From the auction: The photo was bought at an estate sale in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The date stamp on the edge of the photo indicates May 1...

Re: VU & Nico LP with missing 'Sunday Morning' track

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverted_Jenny Except in this case there's only one known copy. Yes, and I got to see a Jenny up close at last year's International Stamp Show (F@CK YEAH!) in NYC, after it sold for a record $1,175,000. To say that this LP is worth as much as the Scepter once was is ut...

Re: VU & Nico LP with missing 'Sunday Morning' track

I was in contact with the seller of the Discogs copy about a year and a half ago. I really wanted to buy it, and negotiated the price down to about USD$8,000, but in the end, I just couldn't spend that much on a record. Wow, you dodged a bullet! I don't question the authenticity of the LP itself, b...

Re: VU & Nico LP with missing 'Sunday Morning' track

You'll see I made a joke about the price...and then he implies this is more valuable than the Scepter Acetate. His answer is more of a joke than mine!

Re: VU & Nico LP with missing 'Sunday Morning' track

The tale the seller is telling about it being Lou's pressing is total BS imo - like the fact that it's a mega rare pressing isn't enough. Price is a fantasy obviously - the usual tactic of putting on ebay just to get it known and then taking the highest offer off site. This. There is no way to auth...
