Spatial Audio version of VU & Nico

I just came across the Apple Spatial Audio / Dolby Atmos mix of The Velvet Underground and Nico on Apple Music. It's new. I just started listening but there's nothing more than a bit of open-ness to the mix that I've noticed. Interesting regardless. I've not seen it crop up anywhere but Apple Music ...

Metal Machine Music in 3D on Deezer

I stumbled upon Metal Machine Music in the Deezer 360 app. It wasn't there the last time I looked. The app is dedicated to music mixed in Sony's 360 Reality Audio format. The selection on the app up until now has been mediocre. The album sounds great - I don't have the ability to listen to the vinyl ...

Re: A song named "Lou Reed"

Lou Reed's Hair by Angel Corpus Christi is from her album Louie Louie which is a tribute to Lou, I don''t have it to hand right now but for a tribute I don't member it being very complimentary. A fantastic selection of accordion cover versions as well as Lou Reed's Hair: Caroline Says Tell It to ...

Re: A song named "Lou Reed"

I love the New Bad Things track - I remember hunting for it when I heard it on John Peel but never finding it. Public Image Ltd did a two parter called "Lou Reed": http://youtu.be/5ooiYVyw2Lk http://youtu.be/ctySTGfMtpk It was released on Commercial Zone which some don't regard as part of the canon ...

Re: Looking for Lou...

There is also The Original Wrapper (Dub Version) from a 12" B-side of the same song, the promo and regular release had a different mix of tracks.

I can digitise from the vinyl if you like.
