Shelley Winters (my choice for 'fat blonde actress')wasn't in Paths Of Glory (doh!) but she did kiss murde...

Re: VU Photo Thread

Ostrich gtr refers to the tuning of the gtr on The Ostrich 45 - all tuned to one note. On VU&N I've always assumed the Ostrich gtr is this one (getting us back on topic) that you can hear on All Tomorrow's Parties, but any gtr tuned that way is an Ostrich I think. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7022...

Re: VU Photo Thread

. . I've often thought of building a Lou Reed signature model Ostrich guitar - Gretsch (probably have to be a look-a-like) semi acoustic with an extra set of pick-ups wired for stereo and the plug-in Vox booster and the 'caution K-9 corps' sticker . . . has anyone ever done this?? . . You would nee...

Re: WHITE LIGHT / WHITE HEAT MONO STOCK LP

Just for the record (pun intended), I think the mastering on the UK mono is the best version available.
I have a US yellow promo mono and it's quite tinny compared to the bassy blast of the UK stock pressing.
Would be interested to know if the stock US mono has diff matrix numbers to the promos.

Re: second fret may 70

Interesting gig! in the description it says "The few times I taped them it was with their permission", so maybe he will upload the others!
