Re: Maureen Tucker Documentary

Cam, have you included Moe's dislike of bootleggers in your documentary? It's reported in The Bob magazine from 1994 which can be seen if you download the "Phase 14" pdf from this link and read your way to the foot of page 3. Sadly, the pdf is non-searchable. https://c.mail.com/@652099718028993115/k...

I don't mean to be irreverent or disrespectful, but I can't help wondering if AM inspired Lou-the-joker to write Ferryboat Bill.

Any thoughts anyone?

Re: Lou Reed Demos

Interesting - didn't know that Kill Yr Sons dated back to the first LP demos It may date back further. I can't remember where I first heard that it was a lost VU song, but it may well have been on the old "yellow" VU forum. According to some posts on this current forum, Sal Mercuri posted on the ye...

Although with Lou's extensive knowledge of the world around him, he would have known about the practice of sending children by US parcel post in the 1910s. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-ne ... 180959372/

Re: real life Waldo Jeffers,1965

This looks like the counterpart to the story I posted on the General Discussion page years ago.

Both stories feature crates, two bottles and being turned upside down. It's all a bit hard to believe.
