Exploding Plastic Inevitable April 1966

This was at the Open Stage above the Dom. Along with Velvet Underground, Mary Woronov danced with Gerard Malanga,Nico sang and huge photos of Nico were projected on giant screens behind them.

I hardly recall if this was posted before,I piked up on the rencent VU&Factory cathalogue exhibition in France,a clasic one but still looks quite cool.

This is interesting and I have never seen it before, which explains why I'm intrigued by the note 'watch Walter'. If this is Lou Reed's notes to Doug Yule, when did he write it and how did he know about Walter Powers taking over bass duties - when Powers' first known gig was in November 1970? Was he still speaking to Yule after August and beyond? Seems unclear what gigs they performed after Reed left. But also, did Yule need to be told what the chords were after all that time?

I believe it’s Doug Yule’s notes to Willie Alexander.

That is also what is says about it on Olivier's site, under August 29 1971: http://olivier.landemaine.free.fr/vu/li ... f7173.html

That would explain it. I wondered if it might be Doug. Thanks.
