Let's See Your DJ/Promo Pressings
Re: Let's See Your DJ/Promo Pressings
imagine: some poor guy at RCA had to listen to "Berlin" and decide which song would make a hit single

In a normal world, a good record, a wonderful song should sell millions of copies.

Beautiful singles, Lurid!
Re: Let's See Your DJ/Promo Pressings
I love looking at all of these, and dreaming ...
Alfredo, is your Australian single a promo, or a stock copy? I've never even seen one of those for real, and I've been obsessed with it since seeing an Australian Zappa single once which looked the same.

Re: Let's See Your DJ/Promo Pressings
just to complete the collection
Re: Let's See Your DJ/Promo Pressings
not a promo but harder to find! my copy is not in good shape. Do you think the $1 price sticker is original?
Re: Let's See Your DJ/Promo Pressings
I'm sure I remember this slogan being used to promote petrol (gas) in the UK in the 1960s.
Re: Let's See Your DJ/Promo Pressings
I do not think that a "promo" copy of this 45 exists. The only "promo" copies I have ever seen are ordinary stock copies with a date stamped on the label. Has anyone seen a "real" promo copy?
Re: Let's See Your DJ/Promo Pressings
this is a pic I must have pulled from ebay at some time - it looks like a different copy. It has a stock label with a handwritten date (11/67)
