Very interesting article about how Warhol got the original EPI concept,is well known that he picked up ideas from others underground artist but being a head of POP-underground movement embraces different art fields with his films&superstars.
Finally is another tv prog.you're waching today ... only changes dates and names.

Taxine,

Great picture. Not sure I follow the - 'how Warhol got the original EPI concept' idea....

PS. the url above needs an 'l' at the end to work.

The Warhol Timeline is really nice, too.

Agree about Gary's blog. It's really grown over the years.

Yeah ...got the original EPI concept is a bit foggy.I meant he was adding up different artistic and cultural domains, within a year and half that "bunch" developed into EPI.show,I love to see this early media performances as a sort of EPI prologue !!

Thanks for the kind words iaredatsun.

I got you, Taxine. :) The projection of film onto the models. And luckily Warhol had all that experience working in fashion, publishing, illustration and those contacts in the design world, to draw on when he started out as a pop-dada-artist.
