It doesn't particularly look like Reed to me. Shortish dark hair and shades. I think it could have been anyone.

I don't think so. I believe it is the guy at 1:40, no idea who he is.
I wonder, is that Nico at 2:14?

I got the feeling that this was shot long after the main event, so looking for VU members in that film is a bit like seeing ghosts. Ciao Manhattan, which this footage is related to, was released in 1972. Did Nico ever go back to NY before 1979?

As far as I know, Ciao! was shot between 1967 and 1970. A velvet in the film wouldn't be unreasonable at all.

As far as I know, Ciao! was shot between 1967 and 1970. A velvet in the film wouldn't be unreasonable at all.
The film was begun in '67 but shelved due to a variety of production problems. It was restarted in December 1970.
