incredible. Here's a few things I spotted

Demos:

Quite a few songs on early demo tapes we have not heard (or heard of).

A whole tape of demos with Cale from 1966 including:

Men of Good Fortune
Put Your Money Down
Walk Alone
Too Late
Pale Blue Eyes (1966!)
Stockpile
Buzz Buzz Buzz
Put Your Money Down on the Table

1967/8 with John Cale

Ride Sally Ride (!)
Everyone Knows
Beginning To See The Light
Ocean (!)

1968
'No John Blues' (presume post Cale, heheh)

Live:

Anyone care to guess why there is no live VU listed before Dec. 1968? Because the overview does describe live performances dating from 1966.

The Velvet Underground recordings comprise the earliest material, featuring performances spanning from 1966 to 1970 at the Boston Tea Party, End Cole Ave in Texas, the Matrix in San Francisco, and their final shows at Max's Kansas City in August of 1970.

Studio:

Seemingly no studio VU material before '3rd' album.

TV:

No sign of the Upbeat TV performance(s) in the tv and film section.

Way beyond what I'd expected. I hope we get to hear this.

It looks as if the July 65 demo they touted round the UK remains lost or is lying undiscovered in Cale's archive. All this combined with the PSAS demo and the Pickwick rehearsal tape would provide an amazing record of the evolution of the band 64-65.
