Does this mean we will never see it without an Apple Subscription?
There's a free 7-day trial
'A treasure trove of never before seen performances'. I'll believe that when i see it.

Agreed. Well, the footage will prob be unseen to about 99% of the viewing public. It's just us VU freaks that will have seen it already. I'm guessing the unwatchable Warhol '67 BTP concert will be one of clips they will feature.

Yep poor Doug & I think that artwork is pretty poor - looks like they copied the idea off one of those cheap 'reimagined' Ebay 60s knock off posters.

At this stage, I kind of think saying 'poor Doug' is jumping the gun a bit. But the early years are clearly going to be of more interest to a 'queer' VU documentary. And Yule in particular I think would definitely be a side-line to such a story.

I like the poster, especially the type.

i wonder is it a real screen-printing frame, or just Photoshop trickery?
My partner got a new Mac this year and it comes with a year's free subscription to Apple TV...

This article which made the rounds a few weeks ago says "Summer 2021". I haven't seen a more precise date than that. Unfortunately, the article does not leave me hopeful that we'll be getting any previously unknown footage of the band performing:

Did you see the Barbara Rubin doc? There were a few bits in there that i hadn't seen, e.g. by her from Feb '66 (the Up-Tight shows), and some bits that looked like Danny Williams' style.
