The clip shows her in conversation with Dylan's manager Albert Gross Man, who offers her career advice.
Tom Wilson was in England with Dylan for at least a portion of the tour depicted in the film, and it seems quite possible that's where and when he and Nico met. Nico was apparently the point of Wilson's primary interest in the Velvet Underground, but I hadn't realized they'd known one another before the VU even fully formed.
