Cale has just announced his first uk tour in a decade. Whitley Bay/York/Liverpool/Birmingham/Cambridge/London/Bexhill on sea

Great news, hope he puts some more venues on that tour. The last time i saw him in Bristol he decided after a number that we didn't clap loudly enough so he repeated the track again! Slightly cranky performance..but he's great - go see..

Good way of getting him to repeat songs you like then?

At that Bristol show i shouted out "play it again" after his first attempt to perform "Jumbo". It was the first time he'd played it in concert. I have hundreds of concert recordings, Bristol 2006 is one i play a lot. Tour dates so far
