Just found above article was recently posted on twitter at https://twitter.com/SoundsClips/status/ ... 1241890816

Quote from article:
"Finally Lou got a job as a writer for Pickwick Records, a small company specialising in quickie albums cashing in on popular trends, i.e. hot-rod and surf music. "There were four of us literally locked in a room writing songs, then we'd go down into the studio for an hour or two and cut three or four albums really quickly. Which came in handy later on because I knew my way around a studio - not really well enough but I could work really fast." "
--partly related to Sheila/Phil's "ten... ten...songs" topic
