Interesting article find Taxine. Amazing film footage. Hope they can confirm it is by Jack Smith one day.

Also, looks like the whole of Tartaglia's recent 80m+ Jack Smith compilation film is on here:

I hope so,that'd be great.

Thank you very much, iaredatsun, gotta make a huge research on Tartaglia's movie that love it.

I hardly recall the title "Jack Smith,Beyond the Rented World: An Introduction (2014)"article that failed to download a while ago.But had no idea about Jerry Tartaglia's bright film;the Norman Love segment just blown totally my mind !!

PS:Right now we only need a fine rebuild of interesting Batman/Dracula Warhol&Smith movie. 8-)

Unless the PKM article mentions how Warhol wanted Mary Woronov to replace Nico as the Velvets’ chanteuse (!!!) it is quite literally WORTHLESS, according to no less a source than Mary herself:

https://eu.desertsun.com/story/life/202 ... 819326001/

Can’t believe this platform doesn’t enable italics but here’s an extract:

When asked about last year’s critically acclaimed Apple TV+ documentary “The Velvet Underground,” Woronov said she saw it, but with some resentment in her voice.

“These people think they know everything, and they don’t know anything,” Woronov said. “They don’t know that Nico was going to be fired and Warhol gave me a tape recorder and said, ‘You learn how to sing, you’re better.’ I said, ‘No Andy, I can’t sing. You have no idea. I hate singing and I won’t do it.’”

For Batman/Dracula there is 7 hrs of footage! I don't think anyone knows how it would have been assembled. There was one showing of a couple of rolls that had had prints made from them. Warhol abandoned the film. Maybe too ambitious at the time.

That article about Smith in Germany, 1974 explains where the lovely (youtube) clip of him in the park, decrying the commercialisation of art , comes from. Cologne zoo. Thanks for that.
