Sweet Jane question

Was there ever a version of Loaded featuring Sweet Jane without the intro?

Interesting. You’d think it would be listed on Discogs. Could there be test pressing without the into? I’ve heard needle-drops of a Cotillion, and the intro is there.

If it was left off, it was definitely a mistake and not, as the article suggests, a later addition to try to spruce the song up. It's possible a non American pressing got messed up with the mastering engineer not realising it was meant to be there.

If anyone is a "verified user" on X/Twitter (I'm not!), they can try to contact the author of the article: https://x.com/TomTaylorFO?s=20

Yes, a question on X might help (though I also don't use it).
I did fill in the contact/query form on the article's website but have had no reply.

I’ll do it. I have an old twitter account .

Wait. I cannot see a tweet from him about the article. So how to ask him the question. Truth is, I’m pretty much a native twitter user

You used to be able to direct message users on Twitter, but now you can only do so if you are a "verified user" = you pay Musk a subscription fee, which I'm not willing to do (but no judgement if you are).

I have no idea. I certainly don’t subscribe. Could it be that i joined a long long time ago that might already enable direct messaging? I’ll take a look.
