Someone wanted to know where they could have this service done at a low price. The $5 price is only good for this week though....after Saturday, August 18th 2007 it goes back to the regular $10 price (which is still low, but $5 is better! So if you're interested, you gotta act fast)

Who knows, he might well be. I'm not sure if it's more a matter of competence than trust. I'd bet most people would provide the service with honest intent, but since it's not all that expensive or difficult to set yourself up with the software and a burner to do this kind of thing, I think in this situation you could easily find yourself dealing with some 14 year old nimrod who doesn't know/care what he's doing. You could wind up with miscued tracks, distorted audio, excessive noise reduction, pops and clicks, or who knows what. Also, I think at this point in the digital music game, most people probably already know someone personally who could do this for them as a favor.
Not to say Ty falls in that catagory. I wouldn't know. Ten bucks isn't a bad price for a decent job.

Well, several people on the board will tell you that I do it for free. I convert it AND torrent it for you, plus I ship the originals and raw files on CD-R back to you. Oh, I pay the postage to ship it. So, other than the cost of postage to get it to me, everything else is 100% free.
