Although I wonder; >$3500 seems to be a bit steep. It surely can't be worth that much?
The press kit is fab, btw!
No, $3500.00 was the highest for a Mono Emerson 1st edition with unpeel banana, shrink and white promo label. But I have seen many sell close to that high. You can visit http://www.popsike.com/ and search Velvet Underground. Search by highest price to get an idea. I haven't looked there in a while, so I don't know how far back they go but it has always been a good research page. (server problem right now though) Another thing you want to be sure to do on eBay when selling is offer worldwide shipping, list on all eBay sites in all countries; that sometimes accounts for some of the variance in prices, (the people with $$ have to be able to find your items) plus seller reputation, and of course quality of item. Use plenty of detailed photos, supersize also. There is no Japanese eBay but those buyers know where to search. Myself, I search velvet underground, then click advanced search, then go down to location and switch from ebay.com to worldwide. This gives you all locations instead of searching ebay france, then ebay uk... and so on. Good luck, hope the tips help. Rick
