ok - let's not get started!
what about this

a stock mono WL/WH sleeve (with a trashed stereo vinyl) for $99 - a pretty rare thing I guess, but I didn't expect it to go this high - had a snipe bid of $75!

Just seen a still-sealed US original (stereo) WL/WH in town for ?200.
Over-priced / bargain / about right?
any sounds that we feel would detract from the performance has been left in place

Not me, but I'm wondering - is this the only release that SR is called Searching

No... the 4 & 8 Tracks Cartridges also read "Searchin" and "Here She Comes" (vs "Here She Comes Now")

Funny... i have seen this cassette 3 times in my life. One auctioned by Subterranean Records years ago, and 2 in the last month! Iw as lucky and got the previous one 8-)

It's a strangely specific variation - I wonder what the story is behind it. I mean, 'Searching' was a nickname for Sister Ray, and not something that would have been used by random mistake.

Sundazed published a photo of the master tape on Facebook a while back: https://www.facebook.com/sundazed/photo ... =3&theater

Looks like this is where "Searchin'" comes from. Also note "Now" missing from "Here She Comes Now" on both.

It's amazing -- yet kind of funny -- that the printer could so accurately reproduce the delicate tattoo overprint, yet use such a grotesque replacement for the title typography.
