Original OSTRICH 45 auction
Re: Original OSTRICH 45 auction
Christ, it went for $960 (about ?520 or ?785)! Do they always sell that steep? And a DJ issue at that...
I looked for this for several years, I've never seen a copy at any price anywhere.
I was thinking I would bid up to $200 or so - I'm selling a guitar amp this week which would probably have covered it....
But the Dickwick boot sounds good, so I 'm happy with that, I guess.
Anyone else ever seen one? Alfredo?

There is no stock copy for this record, no one has surfaced at least!arjan wrote:And a DJ issue at that...
On VU singles it is true that DJ copies are much easier to find than stock labels, but on the LP´s DJ copies for the banana & wl/wh for instance are more expensive by far.
From top of my head I remember one of those "ostrich" sold on the very early days of ebay.
