Hooray! The Forum is back!
I have been very worried; the Velvet Underground Forum here has been MIA for over a week. I visit this forum many times daily to keep in touch and for always changing Velvets info. It has been down for a few days before, but never this long as I can remember. In fact I posted on the Lou Reed forums to ask if anyone had any info. The post got 80 visits as of last check, but no info. I was so glad this morning to log in and see it has returned. This forum is dearly loved and very much appreciated.

Hurrah, we return to life..
I couldn't live without this forum its such a great source of info thats impossible to find elsewhere and full of helpful bods ready to guide me on the road to Velvet enlightenment. Yes thanks to the mods and whoever makes it possible for it to remain running, you all do a great job.
& Happy Christmas / Holidays to all you VU nuts wherever you are - let us hope that 2012 is a better yr for everyone and that it brings us lots of special Velvet memories, tunes & goodies. I raise a glass to you all..

BTW, some bad news. Surfing the Lou Reed Forums, I read this message: "Velvets Boston Tea party DVD download: Can anyone through, any light on some recently found footage of the velvets at the boston tea party in 67.I am currently waiting for it to download from The Pirate bay...Its supposed to be with sound...Ill believe it when i see it"
I checked The Pirate Bay and it's listed under the "code name". I don't d/l from torrent sites but it looks like somebody didn't keep their word. The only hope is that the person who d/l it claims it's crappy so maybe it's EPI or something. bummer
