Today I'm sharing a New John Cale recording. Transferred and Flac'd for the first time anywhere.

It has all you need to know about his touring past, except for this brand new recording.

John Cale: vocals, piano, acoustic guitar
B.J. Cole: pedal steel guitar
David String: violin
Todd Reynolds: violin
Martha Mooke: viola
Dawn Buckholz: cello

I was not familiar with John Cale. I had to do my homework on this to figure out the set list.

This recording had a lot of mic movement and bumps, which also caused random dropouts.

I spent a lot of time fixing these areas and did a decent job at balancing the channels.

Other than that, the sound quality is very nice and clear.

John does a very unique version of Elvis' "Heartbreak Hotel".

Track 13 does cut in due to a tape flip.

Track 17 fades in due to a tape stop.

The final track is a Leonard Cohen cover.

This guy is quite talented.
