John Cale
Bochum, Germany
Zeche
25. Oktober 1985

-reseed-

minimax master-series #067

here's what I wrote when I seeded it the first time:

Master - Audience recording from my old TDK-Sa C-90 Tapes

As far as I remember I recorded it with an old aiwa-walkman and an extra stereo-microphone
(I do not remember what kind of equipment I used, sorry!).
It was recorded from the famous Bochum, Zeche-stairs very near to stage on the right side
where I often sat down and could record the concerts very easily getting the best sound.
The sound quality is very good +, sometimes better.

Once again it was an excellent, but really loud set.
In those years in the early and mid 80's I often saw Mr. Cale performing brilliant sets.
I was so impressed by his "Rockpalast"-solo-gig in 1983 and here he blew us away with a raw
and loud performance.
He did some fine improvisations there that evening and had a lot of fun (!!)
(as Cale-Concerts are normally not known as "fun"-concerts) as they played Yellow submarine.

Setlist:

Satellite walk
Dead or alive
Piano Improvisation
Dr. Mudd
