Although it is a bit "boxy" and doesn't have much dynamic range, this is a pretty good quality recording - I suspect it was either an AM radio broadcast or is the audio track from a TV broadcast. There's only a very small amount of tape hiss, and Lou's vocals are very prominent and expressive, especially on "Kicks" (always one of my favourites from these 1975 shows!). He was in very good form for this concert. Notice how he seems to go out of his way to not use any "swear words" in any of these songs - that also makes me think it is from a 1975 radio/TV source. Also, the songs are all patched almost directly into one another - virtually no audience sound/gaps.

This show is about 1 month into the tour, so the band are really tight here. There is some superb lead guitar by Doug, and Marty's sax during "Rock And Roll" fits in just perfectly.

(Regarding the possibility of this being from a TV broadcast: I have seen a small (~5 secs) unidentified colour film from what looks like a 1975 show with Lou singing "Kill Your Sons". I always suspected that it was from this show, but I dont have any evidence to back that up....)

Distribute widely but do not sell!
