... i think it might be the Fugs? Warhol was pals with Ed Sanders at thw time and they were part of the same lower east side scene to the early VU.
Look at them in 1968 here and imagine them 2 yrs earlier https://youtu.be/ljxnEep6d-c

One of most mystery VU film to me is a very short except in documentary Lou Reed - Rock and Roll Heart. You can see it at

Great color film footage. Any idea where is it from? My personal guess is some short TV broadcast in late 66 / early 67.

interesting! That's Barbara Walters so it's from some news show. Where did she work in 1967?

I remember seeing that footage and flipping out, and then promptly forgetting about it. It's so unusual to see colour film of Nico with blonde hair, it almost feels like it's fake (even though I'm pretty sure it's legit).

It looks like it might be from Nico's solo shows at the Dom in 1967. Cale accompanying her there.
