I recently posted an online radio show of two-and-a-half hours of VU superrarities. It is all instrumental (as opposed to vocals/songs), with the focus on their early soundtrack recordings; and while little of the material will be new to members of this Forum, the sequence makes for wonderful listening under any circumstance:

Thank-you for another copy of your edits. Nice to have them sequenced all in one place.Sheila Klein wrote: ↑11 Aug 2019 17:31I recently posted an online radio show of two-and-a-half hours of VU superrarities. This side of the VU deserves a proper release. No doubt licensing might be a problem with Warhol Foundation and Mekas' Estate.

The solution might be to ignore the word proper. This side of the VU deserves a proper release. No doubt licensing might be a problem with Warhol Foundation and Mekas' Estate.

Ok. An improper release, then. But I supposed what I mean is a release that promises to get the best sound quality and the possibility of unheard material. At any rate it would be nice to have as much of this material as possible in a single physical format package.Sheila Klein wrote: ↑11 Aug 2019 18:40The solution might be to ignore the word proper. This side of the VU deserves a proper release.
