Which ones have Cale on them?A 'new' Pickwick compilation LP turned up recently with a few Lou/Cale tracks on it.

It's similar, but I don't remember "Little Brown Jug" being on there.According to Olivier's site, it's just a repack of the Soundsville LP. New to me, though.

You're right! If we're to believe the album cover, the track list on Olivier's site isn't quite right. Song order is different, and, you are right that "Little Brown Jug" isn't on Soundville.Sheila Klein wrote: ↑22 Aug 2019 22:47It's similar, but I don't remember "Little Brown Jug" being on there.According to Olivier's site, it's just a repack of the Soundsville LP. Re: Rare, Rarest and Most Expensive VU items
Perhaps the copy Olivier accessed was a different edition than this one. "Little Brown Jug" is the only "cover" song on the album, and might even have been in the public domain (and quite possibly supplied by a different production company). It's an anomaly here, and if a song was excluded from an alternate edition "L.B.J." most likely would've been the one.
If not that, then Olivier's info is simply a bit wrong.
P.S. The model's hairdo had me wonder for a moment: how cool would it've been if the cover model had been Nico?!

I've often looked at the VU & Nico black sticker than was placed on the back of the sleeve to hide the torso and wondered whether anyone ever completely removed it in a Beatles Butcher sleeve style. I've seen alot of copies where long ago someone has peeled the edges and removed small areas but I think this is the first I can recall where its been completely removed - not entirely successfully but shows it is possible.

That shows some dedication! I'm guessing a blow-dryer was used.bleach wrote: ↑23 Oct 2019 10:10I've often looked at the VU & Nico black sticker than was placed on the back of the sleeve to hide the torso and wondered whether anyone ever completely removed it in a Beatles Butcher sleeve style. I'd expect that a nice, intact stickered copy would be far more valuable and historically interesting, than a ripped up 'peeled' cover.
