@jimjim:
Rosie Lee already pointed out, that this may be a correct answer, but she´s thinking of another track.

Post by alfredovu » 24 May 2004 14:04

Al Green has a Video tape "Gospel According To Al Green".
According to WGO#3 there is Lou Reed song tittle swiped from an Al Green Song.
There are several options:
Run Run Run
Jesus
What Goes On
I´m Stiking with You
Walk On The Wild Side
Ride Sally Ride
Baby Face
Glory of Love (Coney Island)
Kicks
Dirt
The Bells
Looking For Love
How Do You Sperack To An Angel?

Hey Rosie Lee, help us a little bit. Is the one in your mind one the above??

I *think* i've got it....

1) Growing Up In Public
2) Teach The Gifted Children
3) Take Me To The River

Yes, the Rev. Green did a secular version of this song before he 'saw the light' but it IS based on an old gospel song with the same name & almost the same lyrics. I can provide a source if needed.

Okay, one last guess for which I need some help. We're all in this together to get these tracks so here goes:

1: New York
2. Busload of Faith
3.....erm....no idea..You Can Depend on Jesus (or God?)

I think it sounds like an answer to some gospel song. Imagine some happy clapper singing 'you can't depend on Satan/but you can depend on god etc' etc.

Any ideas?
