Unfortunately it looks as if they are no longer downloadable. Anybody got a copy of these they can share?
Thanks

Yeah, but there protected behind authorisation. If you click on the link, you get a 403 "Forbidden" message.

I support your feeling. I however checked the on-line store at the Andy Warhol Museum -- if anyone should have it, it's them -- and came up with nothing. I therefore presume the CD's OOP. Anyone care to put them on Yousendit or such?

Or you can just torrent it (since it's OOP); or ask Ferges if he knows of a server it can be uploaded to--that would be a lot faster and easier.

The Warhol Museum online store does not sell everything they sell at the museum. You'll have to call to find out if they still sell the CD.

Aaargh. Missed these. I thought I'd read through all the threads that predated my joining this forum !

The CD is still advertised on 'The Image Exchange' website for $10:

http://www.imageexchange.com/featured/warhol/6235.shtml

Interestingly it doesn't mention the booklet that the CD originally came with. Could still be OOP. May be old stock. May be old information.

I would still like to see these posted somewhere though (not torrent). Failing that I'll have to try ordering a copy.

I'm pretty busy at the moment, but I can copy the CD and send it to someone else (in the UK) to host/distribute/torrent/yousendit.
However, be warned it's not that exciting, and the good bits are frustratingly short and/or spoiled by Giorno's voiceover.

It came with a big book that was the first publication of the Warhol Museum in 1994, so I'm not surprised it's OOP now...

I have posted these on Gigasize.
Never used gigasize before, let me know
how it goes. I think it only allows 2 people
downloading at the same time and the usual
wait to download and ads.You have to enter
the code on right side to start.Let me know if it
works ok.

I have also uploaded another old set i found on
my hard drive. It's a sound opinions VU show.
A couple of Chicago rock critics discuss the VU,
play a few tracks, have phone interviews with
Moe & John and review Lou's Ecstacy. Alot of the
same old same old.

Thank you very much Changeling.

Downloaded both today. Both downloads ended unexpectedly before completing on first attempt, but worked fine on second. Looking forward to listening to them when I get home from work.

Gigasize was easy to use with little waiting time. Great. :D

no problem.
I'm glad the upload worked well.
they give a gig of space to use for free,
which can come in handy.
