This is the tape list published in WGO - some of you might be interested.

Idly musing on Simonm's suggestion of a possible connection between the use of 'youngman' by John Rechy and Lou, I found myself on Urban Dictionary, where they make a similar connection with its use in YMCA.

I'm not sure if this has been covered elsewhere on the forum before, but is there much information about the quite long list of uncirculated tapes from the above WGO list, i.e. how did they come to WGO's attention? Was this just word of mouth among the circle of WGO? Just thinking that in-between the listing of Morgantown on the above list and the kind circulation of these Morgantown clips here there was nothing (only the most optimistic would even presume it still existed or perhaps ever existed)...

I am so sorry I totally missed out on this! Any chance for a new upload, or can someone in this forum please send me a copy? I'd be eternally thankful ❤️

Unterberger doesn't say much (in my edition anyway), lists it as the University of West Virginia, Wheeling, WV. No mention of Morgantown but I assume it's the same uplace? The only other interesting point is they got paid $900 for the show, which back in 1966 I guess was quite an amount. No details of a recording, WGO is the source for that info.
Yes I did find his description of the event but I imagined the reference to his updated book meant that he was describing the tape itself. I had hoped to find out whether there are other songs on the recording that we might expect to hear.

The WGO listing is interesting but I do wonder how they’d have even known about the existence of a tape we are now only hearing today. Could it be a coincidence?
