Question(s)

Hello
this is my second post here (I discovered this place only yesterday), the first was a great thank you for all the downloading possibilities you gave.

I have some questions:
I have read for a long time the Olivier's site and I read it as a sort of bible about VU.
But there are some things that are not clear to me.
1. When I read (for example): Tape: listed in WGO 1+2, 60 mins, B-. Is there the possibility to hear this tape? If someone listed it, the same someone have it and (possibly) traded for it. SO, at least, is it possible to have a copy of it?
Do you know some place where to look or ask?
2. Is there the possiblity to have an online view to WGOs?

Thank you very much for the answers.

L.

Ah, that pesky WGO information - those tapes, if they really exist, do not circulate. Where tapes do circulate, Olivier provides more information, tracklisting, times etc.

Thank you for the answer but, while reading myself, the question is bad-posted.

I think like you in general but in particular for some shows there is also a tracklist and all the sources don't cover it completely.
So, someone knows about the setlist, some boots have part of it but it misses some track(s).

So, my idea is that there is some tape circulating but really underground, we all know about it but the traces we have are incomplete.

For example: January 31-February 2, 1969 @ La Cave, Cleveland, Ohio.
We have a tracklist: Waiting For The Man (9:45) , What Goes On (5:08), Pale Blue Eyes [cut] (6:20), Sister Ray/Murder Mystery/Sister Ray (27:34) but teh third song is unreleased on any source listed.

That's the proble who gives live to my question.

I see. Yeah those tapes do circulate. Olivier lists only the vinyl and cd boots that the tracks can be found on, but complete tapes circulate too. Have a look at the thread "The vine I've been talking about" maybe you can get in at the end.
