I'll wait until Google Books posts it.

I just looked at the deluxe edition on Amazon.com, and noticed that a CD is included with the set. Does anyone know what the CD contains?

I'm waiting on my copy but I think it's a 45rpm, not a cd.

It appears to include both a 45 and a CD.

The CD includes same two songs than the vinyl 45.

Thanks. I appreciate that they did that, but it's kind of disappointing that nothing else was added.

What limited edition boxed set would that be?

Just back from a weekend away, taking in the massive Utrecht record fair in Holland. Johan K and Jon Savage were interviewed on a stage about the Velvets and Johan's book, it was good to hear Johan talk, it's obviously a labour of love for him.

Savage is too long-winded for me, I didn't enjoy his 'observations' of Velvets and their scene.

There was also a little exhibit of original posters and photos that are included in the new book and the guy attached to that stall was selling some original posters and ephemera, prices were high as you can imagine. He also had a 3cd bootleg with him that he said was brand new and had a newly found soundboard with Cale included. I was a little skint by this time so didn't buy - does anyone know anything about this release? The cover looked like a similar shot to the one on the Sundazed singles box set. EDIT : Just checked Olivier's site and it's simply the "Dispatches from the Dream Factory" 3cd boot.

I found copies of Unripened and Gymnasium on green vinyl (13 euros each, good deal, maybe they've been repressed?) and there were plenty of copies of the first album in various states of disrepair! One beauty I saw, had complete banana and was in vg condition and priced at 600 euros - I don't know enough about all the variations in sleeve and label of the debut to be sure it was first press. I need to educate myself on the myriad pressings of that record.
