In addition to the Exploding Plastic Inevitable projections, Barbara Rubin also organized the Caterpillar Changes event. She did alternative projections of many films, not only her own. In this picture, we see her with Jack Smith and Jonas Mekas setting up plastic screens for Caterpillar Changes. Images were projected through these screens, replicating them several times. In addition to her own films, she projected Mekas?s films this way, even his more conventional, linear films, such as The Brig and Guns of the Trees.
But there are no stars in New York sky, they're all on the ground.
This is the place where she lay her head when she went to bed at night....

Lou Reed Remembered on BBC 4 from this weekend.

Can't remember which film these shots are from - or whether I'd seen this sequence of Jack Smith, Gerard Malanga, Edie Sedgwick with VU playing in Factory before...

Actually this pic is one one kind,Nico's face on screen along with performers into the shadow is just brilliant,notice the Dom round curtains above.But have not description....only blown your minds guys.
