I also meant to write that, audibly, the version of "Afterhours" doesn't sound like a great transfer?has a "wobbly" affect going through it. (And it's not my turntable?sounds the same on the CD too.)

Thanks for clarifying that. So guess Afterhours is the well-circulated alt mix that's on 'Ultimate Mono & Acetates', and Real Good Time Together is the 2m 33s "late '69 / early '70" demo from the same session as Countess of Hong Cong that's on 'The First Night' and 'March of the Wooden Soldiers'?

So, did the folks with signed copies order from Amazon?

Myself and a friend of mine got deluxe editions from Amazon and the place where they are supposed to be signed
is blank. No Lou. No Mo. No Doug. No shit.

I'm hesitant to send 'em back to Amazon for fear of getting more unsigned copies. Anyone get a signed one from Amazon?

I ordered mine on Sept. 1st which was within couple of
days of it being listed on Amazon. The retail was originally
$250, so my preorder price even better. My friend ordered
a couple of days later. So weird we both got unsigned copies.
I emailed someone at rizzoli. I'll see what they say.

Got mine from Amazon today with signatures, but Doug's is a bit smeared. Not bad enough to return, though. Here is my post about it from Amazon which may answer a few questions. "OK, got mine today. The book is identical to the cheaper one. It comes in a nice box with image of poster on front in gold leaf and banana on back of box in gold leaf also. The box has a split up & down half way across and you can flip up the left half. The side panel on the left drops down exposing a thick card that lays on top of the book. The card has the autographs of Lou, Moe, and Doug. My copy seems to have been a bit wet when inserted and Doug's signature is smeared a "tiny" bit. Disappointing but not bad enough to return, especially since some deluxe books are turning up un-autographed. There is a slit cut in this insert that the 45 rpm and sleeve slides into perfectly. The cdr is in a white cd envelope with no artwork and placed inside the cover of the book. That is all that makes this a Deluxe version. The list price is $300 and I paid preorder price of $165 so I am ok with the price. It is a beautiful presentation and as someone who could not afford the Super Deluxe Catalogue of this show with photos and repros of original posters that was over $1,500, I believe, this turns out to be a bargain. But I am a Velvet Underground fanatic for over 40 years, so what do you expect from me. Enjoy." Here is the link to the listing with some photos I downloaded. http://www.amazon.com/Velvet-Undergroun ... thanks_hdr Note: I have ripped the cdr and it will be available soon, keep watching. :D :D

He must have not used a permanent pen like Lou and Maureen, because my Doug signature is the same exact way?a bit smudged. A little teeny tiny bit disappointing, but not enough to return. Oh well!
