If you have AudaCity or an other Audio-Music Programm, like Sony-Soundforge or Magix you can download. You only have to push the record button in your Audio-Music Programm before you click on the audiostream in the blog. And check the Level Control before you record tracks. Good Luck
I hope this little explanation will help you.
Well, DaD banned 3 of my uploads (2x columbus and one fr om the dispatches yesterday). They were online for a few years but de ban was due to the fact of this new release in october.

There is a "DivShare" player in the post that should stream the audio for you to at least listen to.

I noticed that sometimes the player shows up and sometimes it doesn't! Maybe try reloading the page a few times. Also, if you have the "download helper" extension for Firefox, you can easily download the mp3 after you've pressed play on the player!

I think Morrison once stated that he quit the band for a few weeks in protest over that mix, which Reed did behind everyone's back. If that is to be believed.
I'll grant you that Reed's remix is selfish and an ego-trip, but I'll counter that it is far from ill-advised and is something of a work of genius. I love every guitar torturing wailing second of it. The Sundazed single mix is more balanced and it's great to hear Cale's equally freaky bass-line, but if you asked me to choose between them, it would be Reed's ego-trip every time.
this is the press release with no mention of vinyl. previous post has link that mentions vinyl edition??
Universal will release the album worldwide simultaneously in six different physical and digital versions. Aside from the Super Deluxe edition, The Velvet Underground & Nico will be available in a brand-new two-CD Deluxe Edition which includes a stereo version of the album along with a separate disc of the Factory rehearsals and Scepter Studios sessions. There will also be a digital exclusive and a one-CD original stereo album remaster in both physical and digital form. Alongside a re-mastered vinyl edition
The deluxe edition and digital reissue of The Velvet Underground & Nico is not only for hard-core fans, but for anyone who wishes to trace the two-year development of a world-class band in the process of creating one of the greatest rock albums in history through rare and previously unreleased recordings.
that's a 100 Euro for the 45th anniversary edition. And what in 5 years? What to expect from the 50th Anniversary Edition?
Anyone in here open for speculations?!
The alternative versions of Heroin and European Son on the end of disk 1 are the same length as those on the Scepter disk. I presume European Son is the unedited version of the same take as on the acetate but I wonder if there is any significant difference between these two songs across the two disks.
Also, they have left European Son (and other material) off the Factory disk. Any ideas why? That disk is quite short in itself.
