Simonm. I didn't notice Eric Emerson in the last sequence. And thanks for the new link.
Here's a film I saw in Fopp yesterday on DVD. A Warhol documentary by David Bailey, commissioned by British TV channel ATV, and eventually broadcast in Jan 1973. There was some controversy at the time, delaying it's broadcast date. I guess it was made the previous year, in '72.
Full DVD on youtube. Catch it while you can.

I'm ashamed to say that I remembered the flags-down-the-toilet, Brigid Polke scene, and the Warhol-in-a-bed interview scene. Maybe a universal false memory.

Hardly recall this footage's discused before.Actually are two excerpts EPI&Fugs footage mixed out.Might be an
early EPI because of Baby Jane Holzer's screen test filmed over the stage, but seems the Dom NY.

it's amazing how good the VU were at avoiding being properly filmed in concert (with the exception of the horrible sounding Warhol '67 film)...heck, when Nemeth filmed the EPI show in Chicago, Lou was in the hospital. Crazy that there's so little documentation of the Warhol period, given how many filmmakers there were in that scene.

Edie Sedgwick, with Barbara Rubin and Ray Wisniewski,at one of the first performances of Andy Warhol?s Exploding Plastic Inevitable.March 31,1966.
March 31, 1966
Village Gate, New York, New York,The East Village Other Presents April Fool Dance & Models Ball & the Fugs.
According to this picture Barbara Rubin attended that EPI-Party among other celebrities,so quite easy she filmed out some bits of the event, her work since Uptight days,as fimaker.Nice got new pix around.

This looks like it's taking place in a courtroom, and they have just won their case.
By the way Taxine, who is Ray Wisniewski?

Velvet Underground perform at Filmakers Cinematheque,NY Feb.8,1966.Visible members include members Lou Reed(center)
and Welsh multi-instrumentalist John Cale(far right),the silhouette of German model-singer Nico.(pic:Fred McDarrah)
Probably this picture better show up that Up-Tight Series as the young brother of Andy Warhol's Exploding plastic Inevitable performance.Such amazing still with Screen-test films behind Velvets playin' on stage, enjoy !!
ps:The guy who's talking with Edie is a film director fellow.
