because he can? i.e., rich and bored and between Scientology meetings... I'm not for or against the "project" but it doesn't seem as meant as seriously as some of the comments evaluating it here take it to be.

Their take on BADS! Not bad, I like it, very Dylan-folkie but I like it. Too bad their take on the whole album is so uneven. Mr Beck had a great idea that delivered only occasionally. IMHO

Bonus, Beck has posted an alternative version of Heroin with him (Beck) on vocals. I like this better. enjoy
