I just wanna say that the Drella torrent is REALLY cool, if you like demos or seeing the progress of a songs' development......this is not just a live version of the album.....or rather, the album is not a studio recording of the live performance.....lyric and tempo changes abound....

I stumbled across this on Demonoid - I've not received it all yet so I can't comment on quality.

An EPI torrent:
http://www.demonoid.com/torrents/details/283050/
An mpg of Warhol's Exploding Plasitc Inevitable films for VU shows:
"The Velvet Underground & Nico, I'll Be Your Mirror and European Son from The Velvet Underground & Nico LP and It Was a Pleasure Then from Nico's Chelsea Girl LP, and two live songs from the Exploding Plastic Inevitable at Poor Richard's, 1363 No. Sedgwick, Chicago, 1966/06/23, Heroin [5:14] and Venus In Furs [3:24]. That show was without Lou Reed who was at New York's Beth Israel Hospital for hepatitis, and without Nico who took off for Ibiza at the beginning of June. John Cale on lead vocals and keyboards, drums, Sterling Morrison on guitar, Maureen Tucker on bass, and Angus MacLise was on drums." Quality's not the best, but you wouldn't expect that I guess w/ Warhol stuff regardless. Filmed by Ronald Nameth, & I think this is the shorter of the two circulating versions of this. Tracklisting doesn't follow the above in full, has Nico's solo track, European Son, Venus in Furs. Looks like some of the more psychedelic/montaged parts of Chelsea Girls.
Along with a 60s tv commerical that's got Warhol talking about soup cans & Michelangelo to sullen, bemused-looking boxer Sonny Liston; (Great; short but funny)
A really brief low quality AVI of Warhol's 60s film of Bob Dylan at the Factory. (Not so great, & I think maybe someone clipped from one of the 90's Warhol documentaries)

This was posted on Demonoid this morning.
"(DTS ) Lou Reed - Metal Machine Music 5.1 Surround from cd-4 quad lp
THIS IS DTS AUDIO SAVED AS A NERO IMAGE FILE! ONLY PLAYS BACK ON DTS EQUIPMENT!
Metal Machine Music
RCA
CPD2-1101
July 1975
1: Metal Machine Music A-1 (16:01)
2: Metal Machine Music A-2 (16:01)
3: Metal Machine Music A-3 (16:01)
4: Metal Machine Music A-4 (16:01 or infinity)
Locked Groove (3:47)
Side 4 ends with a locked groove, and it can be played until it is stopped.
I have let this locked groove run for a few minutes. (I couldn't take it anymore...)
I have restored the 16:01 running times for each track. I bought the cd a few years ago and the running times were altered. Each track was not exactly 16:01. In fact side 4 (track 4) was a few minutes shorter so I let the locked grooved run for a while.
I have listened to this several times since being introduced to it in 1984. I had a radio show and we used to play this at several different speeds.
It is a very interesting album. Not for the faint of heart or someone who gets annoyed easily. My wife hates it!
I few tabs of acid would probably enhance the listening pleasure.
Equipment used:
*Numark turntable
*JVC CD-4 Disc Demodulator 400-5
*M-Audio Delta 66 Professional 6-In/6-Out Audio sound card
*Adobe Audition 1.5
*SurCode CD Pro DTS
*Nero Burning Rom
Professionally cleaned vinyl lp treated with LAST Record Preservative.
32 bit recording"
I'm assuming it will play back on a DVD player.

Fair audience tape at best. Kind of goes in and out. You have been warned
