I spent many hours filtering the 'crappy warhol museum boot' to make it more listenable (but still bad). I also split it into individual tracks. I could probably put my version of track 7 up somewhere as a high bit-rate MP3. It would be my contribution to this grand Rosie Lee enterprise. It will sound weird next to the pristine Rosie versions, but will fill the gap. Plus it would be giving something back to She Who We Do Not Know, too, as a sign of our appreciation.

I'll look into it.

Simon
You made the best possible. Hopefully Rosie realizes how much her replacement is needed!

Hey Ferges, what's happening with Rosie Lee - no news on the next track?

This is Rosie Lee. You do not know me.

I have been away on tour. My band, the Fluffernutter Devices is home from a tour of Glasgow and we are very happy with results. Many fans enjoy my outrageous outfits.

I will pose new demand soon. I know much of the technology of sound. I love all friends of VU.

I've not chimed in on this stuff yet, I just dutifully collect each track... and learn all kinds of Lou-Lou trivia... but let me say this...

The Velvet Underground & Nico LP is one of those cherished few albums that you can go back to over and over, enjoy for a lifetime, wonder how you ever got along without it, as neccessary to life on this planet as oxygen, and so forth. But. The problem has always been- You could only go SO FAR- and what I mean is- you can listen to the LP, listen to Nico tracks from the same era, plus a very very few boots, BUT THAT'S IT- there's no more, you're done. What's so special, so remarkable, so incredibly important about hearing these tracks is that they add to something to the list- an event I never thought would happen, until my dying day, when I ask God if I may please watch the recording sessions.
