The same Youtube poster has also removed the flute from Little Sister and Chelsea Girls

it was only a matter of time!. AI music programmes can isolate most instruments (and vocals) now

I had a quick play around with the MVSEP software the YouTube poster used to see how it went with removing the string arrangements from "The Fairest of the Seasons", "These Days", "I'll Keep It with Mine" and "Somewhere There's a Feather", and both flutes and strings from "Winter Song".
The results are here if anyone's interested:

Thank you! These are great, certainly much better than the no flute still with strings versions.
"The Fairest of the Seasons" and "These Days" in particular work really well.

I've now also added versions of "Little Sister", "Chelsea Girls" and "Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams" with both flute and strings removed to compare with the Youtube flute-free versions:

A few of the stripped down versions sound too sparse to me compared to the originals, but for some I prefer the "lite" version.

I have a strange and possibly unique relationship with Nico's "Chelsea Girl" in that for reasons that presumably made sense to me at the time I had this album running on repeat as the background music while I played the original "Doom" game in the early 90s. This has unfortunately left the two things inextricably linked in my mind. Perhaps having different versions of these songs will help me get over this self-imposed mental baggage from my youth.

Thanks ybodsde2. I've had a quick listen to a few of the tracks and I reckon these will be my go to versions of the songs.

Thank-you better without strings.

Thank you, these sound so much better to me than the originals. I actually really like the sparse, uncluttered sound, which reveals background parts I've never noticed before. Not really a fan of AI but if it can do this then good stuff!

Be nice to have the whole album treated to the stringless and fluteless process, if anyone has the time?
