Songs for Drella

Post by arjan »

Dunno if this was mentioned before... An article on Songs for Drella. http://spectrumculture.com/2009/02/revi ... rella.html

The link was posted some time ago on the old-yellow-board-turned-white by its author, one Eric Whelchel (presumably born in 1977 as he nicknamed himself "ewhelchel77"). Once in a while I hop over there to see what lost souls still go there and wait for ...months for anyone to reply to their posts.

Entertaining piece - thanks for the linK

"... any talk about the shared legacies of Lou Reed and John Cale inevitably turns to the gory details about the prolonged pissing contest the two artists have had over the years."

Ahh, the old yellow board...how nostalgic...

Can't believe it's not even yellow anymore...
