Velvet Underground: A New York Art?

Has anyone seen 'Velvet Underground: A New York Ar't? The deluxe edition seems to have a 7" single with it. It costs a massive ?105.00 in the UK.

Both this book and Unterberger's 'WLWH?' book are reviewed in The Wire this month.

I'd like to know what's on the 7" - does the Wire mention what the audio is?

Here's the full text on the 7"
"The record includes extremely rare versions of two Velvet Underground tracks that were only released on a limited edition boxed set many years ago. The tracks?"Real Good Time Together" and "If You Close the Door"?are taken from the personal collection of Mo Tucker and are produced by Universal Records."

I just called Rizzoli's store in NYC and they told me they have stock of the deluxe edition that is signed by Lou "and other band members" I guess that means at least Mo as she was an active participant in the project.

Unfortunately, they're also asking the full $300 retail (double what amazon.co.uk is asking) :(

She couldn't confirm what was on the 45 though, thanks to olandem for the info in the previous post. Olandem, did it say whether those were live or rehersal takes of Real Cool Time and Afterhours?

I live in the US and have the Deluxe copy on pre-order. I will post when recd. if no one else does first. My order shows shipping Nov2, but I believe the non-deluxe edition is already shipping. IMHO the people paying for the outrageously priced deluxe edition should get them first, but in my perfect world, it would be 1966 again and I'd be in NYC, so what do I know. :D
