THE CASSETTE IS A BRAND NEW MAXELL, SO WHAT IS OFFERED IS NOT AN ORIGINAL TAPE FROM THE 60´s.
UPTIGHT TOLD THAT THE SHOWS AT THE VULCAN GAS IN AUSTIN WERE TAPED BUT LOST WHEN OWNER COMMIETD SUICIDE.
FROM MEMORY : I THINK THESE RECORDINGS HAVE CIRCULALED IN THE PAST BUT THEY ACTUALLLY WERE END COLE.

well, the winner was me. please pray and hope for me that i didn't waste 30 bucks on an old tape of a show that I already have 3 versions of. my wife is already a bit upset over it as it is. please pray and hope that it is the lost vulcan tape. i'll let everybody know once i get it.

Yeah, you're right. Let's hope that this is the real Vulcan Gas one. But I'm agree with Alfredovu about the souce

$30, yikes, if it is the vulcan tapes what a deal. I always find myself daydreaming about time traveling back to 66 and recording everything, everyday. Reading the number of shows they played drives me crazy, I can't take it, thinking about all those nights, arghgh.

Mmmmm..I'd kinda fear it was 'Live 1969' transferred to tape.

I got excited when i bought a cd boot that was dated 'Chicago 1967' turned out to be a rehash of 'Live 1969' yet again..Bastardo's!

Back when I was first looking for bootlegs and buying them at record fairs, I printed off all of Olivier's information and carried it around in a bag. If I saw something interesting, I'd look it up and see what it really was. Saved me wasting money on a few occassions.
