Did you find one of the postcards for your book?alfredovu wrote:Rickvelvetfan wrote: I have NEVER heard of the Index book ever having a dust cover. It doesn't show in his photos. Input anybody?
I will reproduce in my Inevitable catalogue one of those. It seems that the Original Hard Cover Index had a plastic protective bag with Warhol name on it.

Ahhhhh. Thanks Alfredo. BTW, are you ready for payments from us "pre-orderers" yet? I know that's not proper grammar.alfredovu wrote:Rickvelvetfan wrote: I have NEVER heard of the Index book ever having a dust cover. It doesn't show in his photos. Input anybody?

Rick regret to dissapoint you (and hope to dissapoint a lot of more people our there!) but even when I told the Catalogue was ready weeks ago I have had to re-arrange about 20 pages since then as new (and great!) stuff has been coming in. I am still waiting for the last (hope so) two magazines that will be included in the Catalogue. I know this new delay will be worth.
AGW the final-final-final mock will be delivered to the printers by mid March and the book will be distributed by mid-end april.

Take your time, my friend. The quality of your commitment will be worth the wait. I guess I am just nervous about missing out on this limited edition. I look forward to a new velvet treasure.alfredovu wrote:Rick regret to dissapoint you (and hope to dissapoint a lot of more people our there!) but even when I told the Catalogue was ready weeks ago I have had to re-arrange about 20 pages since then as new (and great!) stuff has been coming in. This one was on eBay, and the auction was ended early. I wonder how much it sold for...

I emailed this guy and told him I was a Velvets collector, and asked him if he would let me know how much he sold it for just so I could keep track of values of different Velvet related items. His reply follows:
Dear velvetfan,
Hi,
I decided not to sell it just yet and so I took it off the auction.
I started getting too many offers (up to $4,000.00 so far) and so I think I
will put it up for auction on one of the rock poster auction sites sometime
in the next week or so.

Thanks. Wow! I wonder what the offer would have been had it been in better condition.

I know. I have never seen this one before. He told me he will notify me with a link when he puts it on auction.BallroomDays67 wrote:Thanks. Wow! I wonder what the offer would have been had it been in better condition.
