well for a start they have the date wrong! Presumably this is the show from the 19th, since most of the tapes made on the 18th were recorded from the back of the venue.

to the best of my knowledge the original Aulica boot CD issues of these shows were made from 1st generation DATs so it's hard to see this issue improving on that. But I'm a sucker for vinyl bootlegs so I'll probably end up buying it anyway....

I've ordered it so will report back in May when it arrives. They'll never stop bootlegging this 'Live 1969' material, you'd think they would gather up some of the Quine 'out takes' or issue something that hasn't already been flogged to death.

Returned home after two weeks to find that this LP had arrived. Generally, I'm not a huge fan of this stuff, but this pressing makes me want to listen. I'm pretty sure that the same material on the Aulica End Of Cole Ave CD sets and the Live 1969 LP that I have don't sound this fresh or this engaging. The pressing is very good and the mini inset yellow label is a nice touch. A fair amount of love has gone into this bootleg. Worth checking, I think.

Is this the End Cole material or First Night? I'm surprised if two albums of material has been squeezed onto one vinyl disc and it sounds better, much less as good as previous 1969 live material. Please clarify; thanks I'm deciding if I want to spend $$ on this.

The sound is pretty good the bass really jumps out at you. I like the info on a separate plastic sheet ? its quite different and nicely printed.
I think its from the 'End Cole Ave' CD set, interesting it says 'Licenced by Edna Welthorpe? and this name is 'credited' on the sleeve of End Cole Ave release.

There is a Russian inscription which I think says 'published/produced by Mirumir' (?) any Russian speakers here to check that. From memory doesn?t 'Mir' mean peace? Whats 'miru'..Does anyone think this actually is made in Russia, do they produce any bootlegs? Might be a diversion tactic, has been used before..

According to DISCOGS it may be closely associated with the Lilith label, which IS based in Russia. I have a couple Lilith releases and they do an excellent job.

According to DISCOGS:
"???????????? ???????" translates as "Editions Mirumir."

Thanks Michael, nice to see Russia producing some quality records. Theres some very tasty looking slabs of vinyl on their website - i like their house style.
