I'm sure someone's already posted on this (but couldn't find it using the search button) so in case anyone's got (a lot of) money to burn...

... forgetting about the special edition for a sec, I saw the regular DVD (the films with Dean Wareham + Britta Philips soundtracks) at Fopp in London for ?8 - didn't get it.

No disrespect to the original poster and call me a stuck up bore but I find this kind of thing incomprehensible.

'The first ever authorized DVD of Andy Warhol's films.' ? How could the Warhol Museum authorise his films to be used in this cheap and crass way? I'm not saying that he would not have done this kind of thing himself but he's not around to make that choice. Why does an audience need some nice music to make these films palatable, anyway?

..... via rare and classic film footage, plus recently discovered archive, this programme reveals a time of incredible creativity and a sublime chain of events that changed music forever. Includes exclusive contributions from David's ex-wife Angie Bowie; Andy Warhol's Factory assistant Billy Name; MainMan Management vice president, Leee Black Childers; New York scenester Jayne [née Wayne] County and many others from the era.
Yeahh, looks quite interesting and fun...........looking forward to see the film !!!
