Re: Loaded sleeve variations between 1st & 2nd issue?

Thanks, i am aware of all the different deletion marks. I mentioned the hole punch incase anyone knows if one issue had a deletion hole and the other issue had a saw cut or corner cut instead. That could happen if different wholesalers were used for the two issues. So if one label variation had only ...

Loaded sleeve variations between 1st & 2nd issue?

I know the main site states that USA 1st and 2nd pressings of Loaded come in the same sleeve, but has anyone noticed even the slightest difference? Just received a still sealed copy. Has the pasted rear and "Printed in U.S.A." Seal is real tight. Quite a large hole punch top right which has been ...

Re: Dealers selling reissues as originals need contacting

That is correct, but the i felt the description was purposefully misleading. The first pressing is so much more expensive and i was worried that people might bid much higher than the 1971 2nd issue is worth. The White Light/White Heat has been relisted. It doesn't say in the description that its a ...

Sold one recently and got exactly that.
For a stone mint copy i'd definitely pay high though!

I've contacted both sellers. I just hate the thought of a new collector being burned by one of these.

Dealers selling reissues as originals need contacting

Hope some of you guys are into this idea. I'm sure like me you're seeing more and more Velvets reissues, second pressings etc being passed off as original 1st pressings (especially on ebay). I know i've seen quite a lot lately. Thought we could flag these up and if enough of us contact the seller he ...

I'm Waiting for the Man - Youtube comments

Saw this posted over at Waxidermy & i just had to share (thanks to Sakedelic for posting). This will either have you laughing or horrified......or maybe both in equal measure: I checked out this clip for the first time this morning and then I got lost in the comments. Since I have wasted the time ...

Re: White Light Stereo 1968 LP rips ?

I've got an original U.S. Stereo & original U.K. Stereo. I much prefer the UK one, may be something to do with the quality of the pressing. There was a UK Mono & U.S. Yellow Label promo mono which i'd love to hear but prices are prohibitive. The CD from Peel Slowly & See box set is particulary good ...

Re: Velvet Underground: A New York Art?

Well us U.K. Buyers have only just received our copies.
Got mine about three hours ago.
Great to see the three signatures (yes, Doug's is smudged).
Superb package.
Have only managed to flick through it quickly & looks impressive.
A very nice Xmas present to myself despite the long long wait.
