Apparently the way of getting round the world's most awkward interviewee is to make sure you put a bit of make-up on beforehand. Sorted.

Yes Lou was surprisingly genial in the interview, but it wasnt just the makeup, Lou likes it when the interviewer is positive about his music as well as informed.
The band sounded great, but Lous vocals were terribly poor, he never was Pavarotti, but croaking was about as good as it got on this show.
