Warhol Tapes
Great Mark, thanks! I've resent the file with a subject line, just to avoid confusing people (and I think I misspelled your name while thanking you in the message
) Now, about track seven... you should be able to send the whole thing, Yahoo can now take attachments up to ten megs. Try to give it another shot before you consider splitting it up. Maybe it was just some computer hiccup.
Thanks again to everybody. I think it's great that these are all now easily available to all Velvet fans that make thier way to our site!
And another round of thanks to Rosie, thanks so much for your wonderful generosity in getting these fabulous tapes to the faithful!

Okay, I've managed to upload to the Yahoo account track 7 via my work server. I think the problem was that even though the track is only 7.5 Mb on the HD, it comes out to over 10 meg as an attached file in the inbox. All the files are about 30% bigger, no idea why. Anyway, it's there for whoever needs it.
Yahoo makes note of the file size increase when you upload an attachment. In their words:
"Attachments sent with emails have to be translated into a format other email programs can read. This translation, called base64 encoding, adds about 33% to the original size of the attachment. Thus, a 1.5MB attachment will turn into a 2MB attachment after encoding."
Intriguing, huh?

Nice to see the back cover art, but what's happened to the header on the left hand side?
PS Rosie & Ferges, if you are short on space after uploading the audio files you can upload this art to my jimjims group. There is plenty of space there
